Certified to NSF 51/61 for food contact, it resists water/methanol/mineral oil but disperses in xylene/mineral spirits for spray/dip applications.
Beyond insulation, Molykote 4 exhibits ultra-low dissipation factor (<0.0001@100Hz) and 135-second arc resistance. Its chemical stability withstands dilute acids/alkalis/oils, while thermal oxidation stability limits evaporation to ≤2.0% at 200°C (30hrs).
