ThreeBond 1521 is a high-performance, universal, solvent-based adhesive based on polychloroprene rubber and synthetic resins. Renowned for its excellent initial tack and high elasticity after curing, it is an ideal choice for solving complex bonding challenges across a wide range of materials.
Effectively bonds a variety of materials, including metals (e.g., iron, aluminum, brass), plastics (e.g., PVC, acrylic), wood, leather, ceramics, concrete, and various natural and synthetic rubbers (e.g., SBR, EPDM, CR, NBR).
Provides strong initial grab for quick positioning, while curing to form a flexible bond line that can absorb vibration and impact, and accommodate thermal expansion and contraction between dissimilar materials.
The cured adhesive film demonstrates good resistance to water, salt water, dilute acids, dilute alkalis, and alcohols, ensuring long-term reliability in harsh environments.
In a factory setting, ThreeBond 1521 can be used to firmly bond rubber gaskets to metal flanges, creating a reliable seal to prevent leaks of liquids or gases. Its high elasticity ensures the seal remains effective even under equipment vibration.
Suitable for bonding PVC decorative panels and acrylic signs to concrete or wooden walls. Its versatility simplifies the construction process, eliminating the need for multiple types of adhesives for different materials.
Can be used to bond fabrics and vinyl leather to metal or plastic frames within a vehicle's interior. Its good flexibility and initial tack make it ideal for laminating flexible materials to rigid substrates.
For optimal bonding results, please ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of oil, moisture, and dust before application.
Apply the adhesive evenly to both surfaces to be bonded. Allow it to dry at room temperature for 5-10 minutes until the surface is tack-free, then join the parts and apply pressure to fix them.
This product is a solvent-based adhesive. Please use it in a well-ventilated area.
