Electrolube, a global leader in electronic chemicals, has launched the Aromatic-Free Acrylic (AFA) conformal coating. This eco-friendly formulation eliminates hazardous aromatic solvents such as toluene and xylene, offering superior circuit protection while significantly reducing health and environmental risks during production. AFA is UL94 V-0 flammability certified and complies with industry standards including IPC-CC-830, making it ideal for high-end applications such as LED lighting, automotive electronics, and industrial control systems
AFA features excellent clarity and UV resistance, making it particularly suitable for LED module protection. With a touch dry time of 5-10 minutes at room temperature, it supports multiple application methods including spraying, dipping, and brushing. The cured coating remains stable within a temperature range of -65℃ to +125℃, with a dielectric strength of 45kV/mm, effectively resisting harsh conditions such as humidity, salt spray, and chemical corrosion. Additionally, AFA contains a UV trace for easy inspection of coating uniformity, enhancing quality control efficiency.
Electrolube offers AFA in various packaging options with matching fast-dry thinner FTH and remover ULS, delivering a complete solution. The recommended application environment is above 16℃ and below 75% relative humidity to ensure optimal coating quality.
