ShinEtsu KE-12 is a one-part condensation cure RTV silicone with paste appearance and a specific gravity of about 1.02, packaged in 1kg specification. It is a moisture-curing adhesive sealant that can be used directly without mixing and is suitable for room-temperature sealing and bonding operations.

ShinEtsu KE-12 is a professional adhesive sealant independently developed for general bonding and sealing needs, specially designed for room-temperature application scenarios. It is a ready-to-use one-component product with stable flow performance, which can be directly applied from the container and is easy for operators to construct. In the curing process, it reacts with the moisture in the air and gradually forms an elastic rubber body, with stable and predictable curing performance, which can meet the routine sealing operation requirements of various general industrial fields and provide reliable bonding and sealing effects for different application scenarios.

ShinEtsu KE-12 has excellent moisture curing performance, with surface skin formation within 10-20 minutes at 23°C and 50% relative humidity, and a curing rate of 2-3 mm per 24 hours, which can realize efficient construction and controlled sealing thickness. After full curing, it has super high elongation at break of more than 300% and Shore A hardness of 20-30, maintaining long-term elasticity to compensate for mechanical movement and vibration without cracking of the bonding part. It has a wide range of adhesion and can form reliable bonding with glass, aluminum, ceramics and other substrates without primer, with adhesion strength up to 0.5-1.0 MPa. Meanwhile, it has excellent electrical insulation with volume resistivity above 10¹³ Ω·cm, and can work stably in the temperature range of -50°C to 180°C, adapting to various complex working environments.
