Chemlok 238(NW) excels at bonding non-polar elastomers like Butyl and EPDM, which are typically difficult to adhere. Recommended dry film thickness is 10.2-25.4 microns (0.4-1.0 mil) for standard applications, while cured rubber bonding requires 25.4-38.1 microns (1.0-1.5 mil). Storage above 21°C (70°F) prevents gel formation; if gelling occurs, heating above 38°C (100°F) with high-speed agitation reverses the process.
