ThreeBond 1212 Automotive & Industrial Flange Sealing RTV Silicone Liquid Gasket

ThreeBond 1212 is a one-component, solvent-free, oxime-type Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) silicone liquid gasket. It is a white paste that cures via moisture in the air, with a viscosity of 100 Pa.s, a specific gravity of 1.04, and a tack-free time of approximately 7 minutes.

ThreeBond 1212 is designed to form a rubber-like elastic body after assembly, providing excellent sealing performance. It effectively resists vibration, shock, and high-temperature environments, offering excellent resistance to heat, automotive oils, and fluids, making it ideal for sealing joints subjected to high temperatures.

This product features a wide service temperature range of -60°C to +200°C. After curing, it achieves a hardness of 30 Shore A, tensile strength of 2.0 MPa, elongation of 300%, and shear strength (Al/Al) of 1.0 MPa. Furthermore, it offers good chemical stability (resistance to oil, gasoline, water), a quick tack-free time, and excellent initial pressure resistance.

ThreeBond 1212 is widely used in sealing vehicle powertrains, electrical components, construction machines, marine vessels, and general industrial machines. Typical uses include sealing engine oil pans, flange surfaces, threaded joints, turbine joints, transmission housings, water pumps, and various mechanical flanges. It can also be used for electrical insulation and the fixing/sealing of electronic components to prevent leaks of oil, water, gasoline, and chemicals
