Product Overview
Krytox GPL 227 is an NLGI Grade 2, PTFE-thickened perfluoropolyether (PFPE) grease containing an anti-corrosion/anti-wear inhibitor (sodium nitrite). It is NSF H-1 registered (NSF 147520) for incidental food contact and operates effectively from -30°C to 288°C (-22°F to 550°F).

The anti-corrosion additive enables Krytox GPL 227 to pass ASTM D1743 rust prevention tests, making it ideal for corrosive environments. Its PFPE structure ensures low volatility (<1% weight loss at 204°C per D2595) and high-temperature stability up to 288°C. The grease is silicone-free, non-hazardous to the ozone layer, and biologically inert.
