Loctiter SI 5699™ cures to a tough, flexible rubber-like gasket (FIPG) with excellent resistance to engine oil, gear oil, ATF and water/glycol. It is non-corrosive, low-odor, tack-free in ≤30 min, and suitable for metal and some plastic flanges.
The product is thixotropic—it holds its shape on vertical surfaces without slump. The neutral oxime cure system is non-corrosive to Al, cast iron and steel, making it suitable near corrosion-sensitive electronic assemblies. NSF Category P1 registered (non-food-contact areas). Cured hardness: Shore A 45–75, elongation ≥100%, accommodating flange gaps and thermal cycling.
