LOCTITE® 242 is a medium-strength anaerobic adhesive engineered to prevent loosening and leakage of threaded fasteners. It cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and is particularly effective on less active substrates like stainless steel and plated surfaces. The product allows for disassembly with hand tools, making it ideal for maintenance and servicing applications.
