K-8818 rapidly bonds metals (steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.), glass, plastics (ABS, PVC, etc.), wood, ceramics and concrete, serving as an alternative to spot welding, riveting or mechanical fastening. After mixing, it positions within minutes at room temperature and cures to a rigid bond with excellent impact resistance, vibration damping, oil and weather resistance, suitable for both production assembly and field repair.
This product features approximate 1:1 visual ratio mixing with no need for precise metering and only basic dust removal—no thorough degreasing required on substrates. It has suitable thixotropy to resist severe sagging on vertical surfaces. Initial set occurs in just 2–6 minutes at RT. Lap shear strength is ≥16MPa (on stainless steel per GB/T 7124), with good toughness to withstand dynamic loads and thermal stress. It also bonds well to various engineering plastics and offers long-term weather/aging resistance for industrial use.
Suitable for bonding and repair of automotive & motorcycle plastic panels, fuel tanks, radiators, bumpers, dashboards and lamp glass. Used for structural bonding of industrial tanks, chemical piping, elevator components, motor housings and electrical parts. Applies to on-site repair of metal-to-metal or metal-to-plastic joints in machinery. Also used in decoration for aluminum window/door frames, signage, stone-to-wood bonding, and assembly/repair of crafts, ceramics, glass and wooden articles.
