Molykote G-4500 FM is a white, food-grade multi-purpose synthetic grease meeting NLGI Grade 2 consistency. Formulated with polyalphaolefin (PAO) base oil, aluminum complex thickener, and fortified with PTFE solid lubricant.

Engineered for demanding conditions, this grease operates reliably across a wide temperature range (-40°C to 150°C), delivering excellent low-temperature torque (0.9 N·m at -40°C) and high-temperature stability (dropping point >270°C). Certified by FDA 21 CFR 178.3570 and USDA H1 for incidental food contact in processing equipment.

Enhanced Properties

High Load & Wear Resistance: >3,100 N weld load (ASTM D2596), >18 kg Timken OK load (ASTM D2509), and 0.5 mm wear scar (40kg/1200rpm, ASTM D2266), outperforming conventional lubricants.
Material Compatibility: Safe with industrial plastics/elastomers, preventing equipment degradation.
Low Bleed/Evaporation: 3.1% oil bleed and 0.4% evaporation loss (100°C/24h, FD 791-32/2), reducing relubrication frequency.
