MOLYKOTE D 3484 is a heat-hardening anti-friction coating produced by DuPont. It features a gray-black color and offers excellent lubrication combined with good corrosion protection, designed for demanding applications with moderate to high loads.
Product Introduction
This product is composed of solid lubricants dispersed in organic binders and solvents. It is suitable for application by spraying, dipping, centrifuging, or brushing onto thoroughly degreased and dried metal surfaces. For optimal performance, a uniform and thin coating is recommended. Curing can be achieved via air drying (12 hours at 20°C) or stoving (10 minutes at 170°C or 5 minutes at 200°C), and it can be thinned using MOLYKOTE L13 Thinner.
