MOLYKOTE 7508 Valve Grease: Silicone-Based Lubricant for Ceramic Discs in Water Taps
MOLYKOTE® 7508 is a semi-fluid silicone-based grease specifically engineered for ceramic discs in water taps and valves. This specialized lubricant operates effectively within a wide temperature range of -40°C to 200°C, meets NSF/ANSI 61 standards for potable water contact, resists water washout, and significantly extends the service life of ceramic components.
Product Composition & Application
The grease formulation consists of silicone oil, white solid lubricant, and sedimentation inhibitor, presenting as a tacky white semi-fluid material. It is suitable for ceramic discs in single-lever mixer taps, as well as rubber gaskets and plastic components.
Application Instructions
Before application, any separated base oil should be thoroughly mixed back into the grease. Apply to completely cleaned surfaces using brushes, spatulas, or appropriate dispensing equipment.
